Many auctions rings were dark as most barns were closed for the holiday week. But local
coffee shops are full of chatter with much interest and anticipation as to what next week will bring. Historically, the first week of the year is the largest week of the year for reported receipts in the state. No doubt some producers have chosen to wait for the new tax year to sale but just how many feeders will be offered next week and just how much it will cost buyers to own them is the million dollar question.
