After the light holiday week offering of last week nearly all barns were back to the business of selling cattle this week. The supply and demand was moderate, although a few barns in the most drought stricken areas of the state had a heavier supply for this time of year. The cattle industry continues to be overwhelmed by grain news as crop conditions continue to decline each week. The USDA report released this week dropped projected corn yields by another 12 percent placing average projected yields below 150 bushels per acre.
