Demand for feeders was good to very good this week, with heifer demand seeing a significant uptick. Although buyers have been aggressive and seem ready to own cattle, they have become much more selective on the type and kind required to move them to the seat edges and really heat up the bidding. Early fall temperature swings of 30-40 degrees between the days and nights has resulted with light calves that show up bawling, which are not creating much excitement in the ring.
