Yearling numbers continue to be tight following the selloff of many cattle back in early summer which normally would have made up the fall yearling run. Right now, the vast majority of the supply is made up of 400-600 lb calves. Outside the sale barn, recent rains have brightened the hopes for good wheat pasture in many areas and calves, especially steers suitable for grazing are finding good interest from buyers
